If I run bitbake menuconfig, where are my changes stored?

Question / Issue:
For i.MX8, I'm modifying the linux-imx kernel (Sumo release). I run
$ bitbake linux-imx -c menuconfig
to make changes to the kernel configuraton. Where are my changes written / stored?

They should be in
tmp/work/imx8mqevk-poky-linux/linux-imx/4.14.98-r0/build/.config
