For the ECP5UM, what's the difference between SGMII and GbE modes?

When working with Clarity with the PCS block, I can select either SGMII or Gbe modes. What's the difference between the two?

As far as we know, there are no differences.
You can prove this to yourself by creating each one and then comparing / diffing the produced files (e.g., *.v).
